Dymax 18" Timberwolf Forestry Tree Shears for Hydraulic Excavators are built to last. Ideally suited for right-of-way maintenance, general land clearing, thinning and hazardous fuels reduction programs. Designed for use on medium size excavators which have an operating weight of 35,000lbs to 60,000lbs. • Rugged, durable solid steel grapple arms securely grab the tree
• Heavy duty box weld constructed shearing arms
• Near Ground Level Cutting
• Shear blades comprised of high strength 1.25" thick steel and can easily be sharpened or replaced
• Convenient hose routing to hard-line shearing cylinders
• 3.5” chrome plated pivot pins with replaceable bearings
• 18” diameter cutting capacity

• Optional dual Accumulator arms for bunch cutting smaller diameter materials. (ideally suited for thinning applications)
• Optional Delimbing tower construction which allows operators to grab the tree and raise the shear using the excavator hydraulics to delimb branches before cutting. Machines must have (2) hydraulic circuits
• Optional Hydraulic Rotation for maximum efficiency and maneuverability.

Dymax Timberwolf Tree Shears require two way hydraulic flow. Standard models are setup through a sequencing valve which allows the grapple arms to secure the tree before shearing. Accumulator models are setup with a 24v Hi Flow diverter valve. (a switch must be installed in cab for operation). If machines have 2 sets of lines groups then a diverter valve is not needed. Dymax Timberwolf tree shears for hydraulic excavators are designed to work with pin grab quick couplers or pin directly to the stick of the machine.
